Parenting Resources, Coaching, & Consulting

Love & Logic® Parenting Classes, Parent Coaching, and Counseling with Kindred Counseling, PLLC

Hi!  I’m Brittni–I’m a counselor and Love & Logic® facilitator, but you might call me a Heart Healer, Mama Motivator, or Relationship Re-charger instead.

Through several years as a therapist, school counselor, Love & Logic parenting facilitator, and mama of three kids, I’ve had the honor of listening to clients’ stories and helping them return to the life they’ve envisioned.  I hold a Master’s in Clinical Counseling & School Counseling, and am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Counselor Candidate.  I take all the fancy research, theories and methodologies and use that to help you get unstuck–but to you, it will feel less like theory and more like genuine empathy.  Someone who gets you, someone who is on your side, a kindred connection.

Love & Logic® Classes
About:  Love and Logic® is a research-backed parenting program that teaches parents of children ages 18 months to 18 years how to stay calm when kids misbehave, gain cooperation the first time, and deliver effective consequences.

Brittni’s emphasis is on helping parents build healthy, strong relationships with their kids that will last a lifetime.  She pulls from her training as a counselor, her years as a school counselor, and the Love & Logic curriculum.

Who teaches the classes?  Brittni Fudge, MA, NCC, LPCC has experience as a school counselor, teacher, and has been teaching Love & Logic for 5 years.  She s a mental health therapist through Kindred Counseling, PLLC and has 3 children of her own.

Tip for parents:  Parenting can be tough and leave you thinking you don’t know what you’re doing.  Love & Logic can give you some concrete tools and phrases to say that will help you remain calm so you can nurture your relationship with your children.
Location:  Class locations vary but are generally in central Denver or Stapleton.  You can also host a class in your home with your friends and neighbors.  Contact Brittni for more information.

Kiddie Up Nannies

About:  Leaving your child with the right person is a big deal! That is exactly why Kiddie Up Nannies is here! It is our mission to support, educate and assist every parent. We can be as involved in the process as you need or simply offer a helping hand. Kiddie Up’s services are individually customized based upon the needs of our clients.

We are a full-service agency that places full-time and part-time nannies, occasional sitters, overnight care and event nannies. We have over 150 nannies within our database and assist close to 200 families annually with just our placement services. Our nannies have at least 3 years of experience, CPR and First Aid certified, they have gone through our extensive interview process and detailed background checks.

The second tier of Kiddie Up Nannies is the class we offer. Kiddie Up Nannies hosts Find-a-Nanny 101 & Nanny Share Social class. During the class, we discuss questions to ask a nanny, reference and background checks, taxes, insurance, contracts and more! After the informational piece, we give families the opportunity to meet other families looking for nanny shares and of course, we touch on ways to compile a successful nanny share! You can see our upcoming schedule here: http://www.kiddieupnannies.com/classes-events/

Thirdly, if you are a do-it-yourself-er, the Find-A-Nanny Toolkit is a great option! The Nanny Toolkit provides parents with the tools they need to place a nanny on their own. The process can be overwhelming, but this step by step guide keeps you focuses and on track to place your child’s perfect caretaker!

Tip:  I like to think of it this way… Could I change my oil in my car on my own? Probably. Do I have the tools or knowledge to do it? No, not really. Do I have the time or resources to learn how? Maybe. Do I really want to spend my precious time scouring YouTube trying to figure it out, or buying expensive tools? Even worse, I would really prefer not to climb under my car, get all oily and figure it out. It would be much, much easier to call a professional. Someone who deals with oil changes every day. Someone that is so knowledgeable, focused and experienced- they are the ones I want to call!
Could you find a nanny on your own? Yes. Do you know what you’re looking for, what questions to ask, information about taxes, where to find nannies, what to include in a contract?

Being a Kiddie Up client you will have these answers. Do you have the time it takes to dedicate to the process? No! Your time is valuable and most likely you have a few thousand other things you could be doing. You need Kiddie Up Nannies. You need an expert that knows the ins and outs of the industry. You need someone who will ask the right questions, keep you on track and guide you throughout the process. You need a service that will listen, care and offer customized support. You need Kiddie Up Nannies.
